Stage 4: Cross-functional fit (60 minutes)

Have the candidate meet your engineering lead and a product or business stakeholder. The goal is to test whether they can work within a product-focused organization. Ask: How do you decide when a research direction is worth pursuing? How have you communicated research results to non-technical colleagues? How do you handle negative results? Writing the Job Description
